Cpu question

After looking around the web and reading benchmark reviews Iv come to the conclusion that my ryzen7 3700x is more than enough for my needs but my question is if I was to upgrade to ryzen 9 3950x how much of a performance difference would it be and would it be worth it
Specs are ryzen 7 3700x rtx 2060 64gb ram 1tb Samsung evo 980 pro

Depends entirely on what you're doing.

If you're going to upgrade anyway then it would be a little derpy to not just go Ryzen 5k unless the price was super low.

I play a lot of undisputed boxing football manager total war game and general internet use nothing like video editing and stuff like that

There would be zero benefit in going 3950X in that instance other than being like 'OMG I HAVE 16 SHINY CORES'
