CPU qustion

BIOS (basic input-output system) is the firmware that's used to "connect" your CPU to the board.

Older boards have to be brought up to new standards, such as updatin your operating system to work with new programs.

Would you be able to help me with that when the time comes? I would be Thanksful.

Problem being, you can't update the bios unless you currently have a cpu that board supports. Just let us know what exact parts your gonna get and we can let you know if there will be any issues.

If you are gonna be gaming, get a quad core processor, not a dual core. You'll kick yourself in the butt later on. Your games will be bottlenecked by the cpu.

I was going to get the AMD Athlon X4 760K 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor but someone told me i was better off getting the intel Pentium Processor G3258 4 BX80646G3258.

Tell me now so I can cancel my order now? just place the order maybe 20-30 mins ago and i still can cancel it

If you were to go with the 760K (860K is better), you'd still need a A6/A8 series APU to update the BIOS.

So check the web by typing "____(CPU) and _____ (motherboard) compatability" to see what works
