CPU Stock Paste?

Hey

My CPU arrived today and I want to install it today.
At the moment I don't have any thermal paste but I have heard that the stuff on the bottom of the stock heatsink is pre applied thermal paste.

Can I just leave it and install the CPU and heatsink without applying my own paste?
I don't plan on doing any overclocking whatsoever by the way

Here is a picture of what I believe to be the thermal paste.
I don't see what else it could be

You don't need to apply your own, this paste is efficient to work on stock settings.

And if you want to apply your own you have to remove the stock thermal paste. Don't overlap them.

Yeah, that's thermal paste and it's pretty decent. If you do get thermal paste at some point, though, you might want to clean that stuff off and put some new paste on, just becase it'll probably be a bit better.
