CPU temp program

Is there any program that records the temp of the CPU directly from BIOS? My BIOS says that my CPU is idling at 26c, and HWmonitor says its idling at 5c. That'd be nice, but not possible. So one that directly links to the BIOS would be nice.

Or it might be an outdated program that doesn't read the FX CPUs correctly.

I've had issues with HWmonitor.
Speed fan seems to read right and it's supposed to log if you turn it on.
Not sure if it reads from bios though.
