Ya mines dumb :-).. in bios it says 50c and my aerogate II fan controller says usualy around 40c when the mobo is at 50c after a bios flash it still reads 50c but i'm not believing it because with my last system the mobo's reading was just 1c off and i've got it set up the same in this system.. How many of you think it's possible that the mobo is wrong?

Check! Im not sure where it gets its values but ive seen cases where the BIOS was wrong and ASUS probe was right ... :)

yea asus probe is giving me the same reading as the bios, After I instaled it I checked the bios. However it's strange because now it's consistanly 5c higher rather then closer to 10c higher as it was b4.

Perhaps I should check the sensors placement one last time.

For my Aerogate II fan controller.
I would think the onboard CPU sensor to be more accurate :) Ten degrees is a fair amount of deviance but not unheard of (and the quality of the probe is to be questioned)

I cannot accept that for a couple of reasons. The quality of the probe is not a question it's a quality product by Cooler Master which was off by just 1c on my last computer system which was also the case in most reviews on the product. Also I did mention that it was off by 5 degrees last checked.

I would imageing that the probes placement would more be the culprit if not the onboard cpu sensor although the placement of the probe is identicle to that of my last system.
