cpu temps are they ok

hello. so i play my games and when i look at my temps when im done i am not knowing if they are ok. i use real temp and core temp and they are the same. all temps are under load... 1st core reads 67c, 2nd core is 60c,
3rd is 58c, 4th is 57c. i dont know why the temp difference would be 10c, and im wondering if these are kinda high. the cooler im using is in my sig. i was debating on either changing the fan that it has on it to one that blows more air, or just getting a new cooler altogether, although i just bought this one. if these temps are ok, then let me know or if you have some good advice then also let me know. im using artic5, and only applied a rice to two rice sized dabs on the cpu. could my cooler base be unlevel?

They are on the high side, but should be ok. I'd suggest using something like Prime95 to really work the processor and keep a close watch on the temps. As long as it never exceeds around 70*C, you should be fine.

yes they do seem a bit high. +1 on the Prime95 stress test. if the temps get about 70, you might want to consider a different cooler. are you overclocking? try wiggling the heatsink lightly and see if it moves around. perhaps you should just go ahead and reset the heatsink. might as well try it and rule it out first. hope i could help.

i am overclocking. its in my sig. ive tried moving the cooler around but its on there pretty good. doesnt move at all. ill try resetting the cooler all together, and see if that helps, and if it dont, what cooler would one recomend for my setup. it will be overclocked permanantly to 3.4Ghz, and would like it to not exceed 45c underload. i was looking at maybe this one...

im also going to try and take the fan out and put a higher cfm speced one im its place to see if that helps

i saw this one...

do you think this will be a good one to use with my quad? ?
or what about this one...

right now im using one similar to this one but made by masscool. exact setup minus the fins under the fan

i idle at 40c, and when using intel burn in i get up to 85c!...i need to do something about that. ive reapplied paste, tried different fans, and i still get a 40c on 1st core and 30c on 4th core. i think this is the best this cooler can do. so anyhelp in which one to get would be great. maybe ill just buy them both from bestbuy and test them out and see what difference it makes with the one i currently have, then choose which one to keep and which to return. ill still be stuck with the masscool not being used. waste of 33 bucks. anyways, any suggestions or opinions is welcome...thanks. oh, and if anyone can recomend one that would be better than the ones i listed, from like newegg or something then let me know.

No I wouldn't get any of those.

The thermalright venomous X is one of the best air coolers-

Scythe Mugen is good but out of stock-

A very general rule, more heat pipes=better cooler. VERY general, not always the case but for the most part it is. I have two Thermalright ultra extreme's, which is the older version of the venomous X (looks exactly the same) and I've gotten several CPU's way cooler. With the stock cooler, my I5 would see 100c in about 30 seconds overclocked to 4.2ghz. The the ultra extreme, max of 70c no matter how long. Now thats high overclocking there, 1.50 Vcore very hot.
