CPU temps?

I just built myself a brand new computer and I was wondering what good temps were for the CPU.

Here are the specs:

CPU - Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66GHz - Overclocked to 3.8 GHz
MoBo - ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard
Fan/Heatsink - COOLER MASTER Intel Core i7 compatible V8 RR-UV8-XBU1-GP 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler
RAM - OCZ Gold 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
Case - COOLER MASTER HAF 922 RC-922M-KKN1-GP Black Steel + Plastic and Mesh Bezel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
GPU - XFX GX295NHWFC GeForce GTX 295 1792MB 896 (448 x 2)-bit DDR3 PCI Express
Thermal Compound - OCZ OCZTFRZTC Freeze Extreme Thermal Conductivity Compound

And Here are my temps:
28c - Idling
70c - 100% cpu with prime95 ran for an hour

Now do you guys think that's too high of temp?

Any help is appreciated!

You're idle temps are sweet, but your load temps are just "ok".

70c is a bit high, but not in range of anything to worry about.

When you approach 80c, stop testing...

At your overclock that's sweet. My temps are higher at stock settings ( with OEM fan ). Are you running a D0 step, or C0 step?

My cores aren't staying the same temp though, They're about 1c off, like 2 will be 70c and 2 will be 71c - I know this means I didn't apply the compound evenly but is 1c really something to fuss over?

I don't know what it means, but Core Temp said it's a 'D0' lol

1-2C difference is nothing to worry about. What are your voltages for that overclock ? Try lowering vcore and see if it's stable, that will lower your temps. I needed only 1.16 vcore to hit 3.8 with D0.
