CPU too hot... !!!

Soo, I increased the 'DDR2 Voltage' by 0.2 volts. I'm unhappy to say that I'm still getting loads of errors with memtest.

Edit: I could not find a spot in my BIOS to logically disable dual channel, so I manually put the sticks into single channel mode. So far- no errors.

did you try knocking NB core voltage up too?

also, run check disk (go to my computer, right click the drive you want, click properties, click tool,s click check now). If you already have a corrupt file or sector then every time that the RAM has to use it it will cause an error

If it is running stable in single channel mode there may possibly be a problem with the memory controller on the motherboard. I had issues in the past with a motherboard that would not run stable when the RAM was run in dual channel mode, but everything ran okay in single channel mode.

If you like how it is running now it seems the problem is solved.

That it is! And I thank all of you who helped me get this problem solved. Truly, this forum is extremely helpful. Now on to networking :D heh heh heh..
