Cpu upgrade

Want to upgrade m830 board from 750mhz to ? What can I get without having to flash the bios as I'm a noob.
 
It's highly unlikely you can upgrade. You MAY be able to find a similar laptop with a faster processor or something, but many older laptops had non-standard sockets and what not.

See those two white things going parallel to each other? Towards the right of the main board? That's the processor connection for that particular motherboard. Not quite your usual socket7 :P

The m830 m/bd is a desktop not laptop
