apj101 VIP Member Nov 1, 2006 #6 Svchost.exe is a generic host process name for services that run from dynamic-link libraries (DLLs). but that is WAYYY to many, read the name VERY carefully if it says ANYTHING other than "Svchost.exe" (case sensitive) let us know
