ok, its obviously understood that the cpu plays a fairly important role in graphics/gaming. im just wondering if the cpu's FPS cap changes with the quality of the graphics that are put out.
for instance an athlon 64 3000+ might have a top fps of x.
when graphics quality is raised fps = x-5.
when graphics quality is lowered fps = x+5.
is this the case?
