CPU weak link?

I am getting 54 fps on metro 2033 now, with max settings, 4x msaa and advanced dof and tesselllation. Is it maybe some overkill on my game settings?

If it is not broke do not fix it in my opinion. 54 frames per second is excellent. I think your problem is solved.

Cool, I think i just need to fine tune these particular games thru the console. For example, i lowered some settings on crysis thru the console and voila, an instant 15fps increase... is there any other console commands i can tinker with in crysis?

Lol probly didnt help that my hard drive was 22% fragmented, with 100gb worth of fragmented files >_>. took almost 6 hours to defrag that

I do not like the defragmenter program that comes with Windows. I use Auslogics Disk Defragmenter to defragment my Windows hard drive.

Im still trying to gauge what kind of performance I should expect with this setup. I think its underperforming..... I get like 24fps on crysis max settings...
