I wish to have a desktop built with Linux Debian Buster 10.3 (the standard stable Debian release) as the operating system. I need help to discover the best AMD Ryzen CPUs which will work okay with this operating system. I have heard that there have been problems using Buster with 3rd generation Ryzen CPUs, so am interested in using either the Ryzen 5 2500X or the Ryzen 5 2600E.
Can anyone please let me know whether these CPUs will work with Buster 10.3 ?
I do not know a great deal about Debian, so do not want to get involved with any Debian back ports.
