Crashing/Freezing

I recently built a new computer, but it occasionally freezes up and I have to restart it. I can provide specs if needed. What are some of the typical causes of freezing? It crashed twice, but that was only when trying to overclock in the nVidia control panel.
 
What are the specs just for kicks? :P

Is it blue screen or just freezing or restarts? Also is it nTune? I was having ALOT of lock ups and freezing, and when i uninstalled nTune everything was fine. Was it doing it before you put nTune on it? if thats what your using...
 
I think I use nTune, yeah. It hadn't done it before nTune but I installed that almost immediatly. I have the freezes at random times. I had 2 blue screens when trying to OC with the nVidia program. My specs are:

XClio A380
AMD Athlon X2 5200+
eVGA 8800 GTS 320MB
Patriot Extreme Performance 4GB(2 x 2GB) DDR2 800
ASUS M2N-SLi-Plus
WD Raptor 74.5GB 10000RPM HD
Windows XP Professional 64-bit Edition
Sound Blaster Audigy SE-PCI
 
Probably one o more of the sticks are bad (when i mean bad, is that they will cause random restarts,etc), the other thing could be the power supply (380 watts?)
 
Try to uninstall the nTune... just to see. It was causing me hella problems lol. If that don't fix it then take one stick of ram out at a time. Also OC'ing from windows could have messed something up, is it oc'ed right now? also you can try going into bios and select the "load defaults"
 
It's OCed slightly right now. It doesn't happen TOO often, but often enough for me to be paranoid about it (It being my first build and all). I am going to wait and see how it goes over the next few days, next crash I am going to uninstall nTune.
