And 3dmark 2001 is relevant how? And we should care why? And benchmarks are useful because? 3dmark is really only good for those little kids over at the madonion forums that can't get any closer to a woman than www.porn.com

Haha, benchmarks are useful though for quickly comparing PC's. It's like the dyno test of cars :P
 
No they're not. They're not at all useful for comparing PCs. That's where everyone has it wrong. Because of the differences in hardware there are no constants by which to form a comparison. The only time they are even remotely useful is when you perform an upgrade in your own machine.
 
yea, why? quite a lot of games are using way more grafical power than CPU power. true.. occasionally the AMD's would be a bottleneck,.. but i think it will be just fine most of the time.
 
it depends on the game. what if the game barely uses any processor, and is multithreaded?
besides, who needs a bottleneck when you've got vsync lol
i dont think my brain could handle that type of fps, i mean seriously its like increasing the game difficulty from max to even higher than that lol...
i mean seriously, go into ut2004 and change the game speed to a higher setting. ITS TOUGH lol
