Creating a music server?

I want to create a music server using a cheap computer I have to store all my music, and somehow stream it over the internet to another computer. Actually, I would like to have the entire playlist somehow streamed to foobar Are there any tutorials I can try using Ubuntu?

eta: i don't mean streaming it over wifi. I already know how to do that

IF your wanting to literally stream off your server to another computer outside your house there is more to it and not an easy process at all. Thats why mp3 players were made.
