creating dvd's

I frequently watch a dj show online DJBattle.net. they release they're episodes in divix for free download and i was wondering what would be the best program to use so i can burn them to dvd and play them on a regular dvd player....

i might be able to help you but what file extension is the movie? (like wmv, avi...)

Sorry About that the ext is .avi

I honestly don't remember how to do that file ext. It's just a matter of converting.
