Creating my own DVD movie

I had some movie files that i wanna burn it onto a DVD .. im using nero perium 7 to do so .. but i reliase that the format dont match .. so can anyone give me step by step guide and some useful sofware to help me with this

It says Window Movie . this file format can only be burn for VCD but the file size is too big for a VCD hence i need to burn it on a DVD but the format is incorrect for burning a DVD . Maybe i need a converter or something ?

You can use a DVD authoring program which will render it into the appropriate format for you.

If you have the full version of Nero 7, this is all you need. It has authoring capabilities. I'd recomend using Nero Vision Express which is part of the Nero 7 suite and putting the video files in a project. This will author the video fro DVD burning.
