What do you guys who bought it feel about this, I only want it for gaming.

Thanks.

I have the X-fi Xtreme Music and its the best for gaming everything is crisp and clear and sounds alot better then my soundblaster live 24 bit one did. even with headphones everything sounds good cause the soundcard changes the sound to 5.1 in the headphones and sounds great.

If your only usage for the card will be gaming, then it's a fantastic card!

Exactly which one do you plan on getting?

ya and when you do get the Logitech Z-5500s with it and you will be happy just be careful and dont blow the subwoofer like i did now i have to spend over $200 to get new ones:(

I also had the Xtreme Music, and i was extremely pleased with it. My favorite thinkgs about it were the 24Bit crystalizer for music with speakers, and i especially loved the adavanced CMSS-3D function for headphones. I swear when i was playing a game with headphones, I would turn around because i thought i heard gunfire coming behind me!

I have it.

I am selling it now though, to whom I am not sure.

It's an excellent card, everything sounds so amazing with it. There really is a noticable difference in sound quality.

heh, yea those look sweet, but the problem is, is that im getting my computer when the Intel Kentsfield Quad-Core processor comes out, and that is gona be pretty expensive... i wus thinking like Logitech THX Z-5300e 280 Watts... or w.e. is equivalent to those at the time i buy my computer...

Well hopefully their cheapest on of the bunch will do everything I need.
I have no idea which is better, once again, I give a crap about music, only want a better gaming experience.

The average selling price for the X-Fi XtremeMusic on eBay is $79, and the X-Fi Platinum for $134.

Newegg is having a sale on the X-Fi Falatity. It's normal price is $280, but they have it on sale for $199. Do you think thats a good deal?

Yes, after doing some homework ont he matter, each of those cards are very different. and you would want the Fatal1ty version for gamin, and gaming only. as it has true and full EAX5.0 64MB X0RAM (more then the other three) and some other nifty thing made only for gaming.
