Critical Updates!!!

Hello, I want to download some critical updates for my windows xp professional sp2 but it always says that my windows is not genuine!!! and i contacted microsoft, they said that my windows needs to be updated to validate that it is genuine... but now i can't because i'm in dial-up so i can't download some large critical files directly from microsoft!!! so, can i ask a favor? can you please download some critical updates that i can't download from microsoft!!! please, pardon me!!! i beg of you!!! not the link but the files either not the link!!! please all i want is that critical updates!!! thanks for your kind consideration!!! thank you for downloading the files!!! thank you very much, to whom it may concern!!!!!!!!:)

Do you want someone to burn them onto a CD and mail it to you??? Besides, I have always assumed the only way you can get updates for windows is if you need them and they just run, you can not save them... what EXACT update do you need?

You know how long it would take to download all those updates with dial up? Not to mention the fact that I dont think anyone here will send them to you because that would be some kind of Microsoft Copyright Violation...if you have a legal copy of windows there should be no reason why you cant download the updates, infact I think you can contact microsoft and they will mail you a disk of the updates if you verify your serial number for your windows CD!

Not so:) I always save each update executable to my slave drive and back up regularly to DVD-RW so that when this system goes kaboom and I need to rebuild, I won't have to re-download around 152MB (so far!) of updates!
When I'm in Windows Update, I always look at the Details link of each individual update. Then I go to the Microsoft TechNet or Knowledge Base page via the link that always pops up in a small window and download and save each update, one by one. Yes, it takes time, but with dialup, I only have to download them the once.

does anyone wonder why he cant update, doesnt it just suck of a fake windows copy.....?? and the whole "pardon me!!!" and "i beg of you!!!" sounds a bit desperate to me, sorry, im leaving.

no, no, no... you can download windows updated with a not genuine windows... erm, *cough*i don't know how i know that... uh.... i think i, read it somewhere... uh yea anyway... you can run windows updated if ur system isn't genuine... so even if it wasn't genuine he still couls... uh... not that I am - encoueging_ or uh... promoting that, i'm just trying to say that isn't the problem...

you can't download things like WMP and microsoft defender if you don't have a genuine windows tho...
 
so why i've installed sp2 if my windows is not genuine?
