Crossfire compatibility question

I currently have a Saphire 7970 card and want to know if I will be able to run a crossfire configuration with another 7970 that is not made by saphire? I'm not sure if driver errors as a result will become a factor at that point which is why I'm asking.

You will not have any issues that any other CFx system would not also have. The brand does not matter, as long as the 2 chips can CFx together, (which 2 7970s will. even 7950 and 7970 will)
