crossfire or sli?

BenDid... if you have no idea what it is... you don't need it... the people who need/will use it already have their minds made up before asking this ?...

Thats awfully ignorant of you. Not only can I handedly shatter your argument (which I will do very shortly), having more boards is inconsequential so long as both factions have at least one board. Now as far as shattering your pristine fanboyism -- SLI can be all mighty and powerfull ... but it kinda sucks when you get 0.00fps at any resolution because it cant do HDR+AA.

Depends on if you like ATI or Nvidia, that fight could go on and on-on-on-on-on-on!

Well if money isnt an issue it's fairly clear: the soon to be released X1950s (in crossfire) will be far superior in overall quality (since they can do HDR+AA and nvidia stuffs cant) but if you're interested in brute force AA then QuadSLI will be the route to go (SLI yes but in particular, QuadSLI because we only see the strength of it as we scale the AA -- naturally assuming XHD gaming of course). Now of course, we arent operating in a unlimited budget world so decicions and concessions need to be made :)
