Crossfire

Just a quick question about crossfire. I currently have a Radeon HD 4870, and have the chance to get another one here soon for cheap. Thing is, mine is the 512k version and the other is the 1gig. I was wondering if these two can be used in crossfire with each other, or does the memory difference hinder that?

Yes you can use them together, I run that exact setup in my secondary system. You'll waste 512mb of the 1gb card, but two 512mb in crossfire games a whole lot better than a single 1gb.
