crt monitor changing colours

hi people my crt monitor not all the time but quite often the colours change whys that is it my cable, monitor or graphics card
 
ive had that problem when the lead is working loose, i dont wanna question your common sense but you might wanna check that cos its something that is overlooked.
also, drivers might be playing a part so check that too.
if you can try to test the system on a different display and also try your display on a different system.
 
If it is the entire screen changing colors, try pushing the cable into your graphic card more, it could be loose. Also, after a while, the pins (each pin is responsible for a different color or aspect) on the monitor cord wear out and start to mess with your display, wiggle the connection around a bit.
