crysis, assassins creed and COD4

Crysis:
Pretty good, it's got great graphics but in my opinion the story is nowhere near what it should be in order to qualify as a great game. It's fun for a while and a great way to test your computer but that's about it. I'm definitely going to play through it again when I get my new computer put together, which is hopefully within a few days.

Call Of DutY 4:
I can't say a lot about this as I haven't gotten a chance to test it myself, but I've heard people praise the multiplayer part of it. But I've also heard some of them say later on that it's getting really boring.

Can't really say anything about Assassins Creed, though.

Call of Duty 4 is a great game, though the ranking system in CoD4 is a bit easy to get through its still fun (though i am a HUGE fan of the CoD series).

i currently have crysis coming in the mail, and if you look at my sig, you might be surprised, but yes, my card can actually play it real smothly at 800x600 nearly everything at medium.

i want to get cod4 but i must say, the gernade sound when u throught it, is the same from cod1:eek:.

assasins creed iwant to get, i love the fact thats its open...

Crysis - a good laugh, but still completely limited. To be fair it's about as free roaming as fps's get at the moment, but when you have an island and you're still walking down a path it's a tad pathetic. Music was appalling, nearly ruined the game for me. Game seemed to peak half way through, then went horribly downhill, end was weak. Finished it after a couple of days, took it back to the shop for a refund.

COD4 - Not as good as 1 or 2. I appreciate the fact that they need to move ther series on, and this was one of a few possible advances, but it lacked the atmosphere it needed. WW2 leaves you feeling stranded, which is great for immersion in a game, in 4 you were always a minute or 2 from a heli picking you up. Stunning graphics, I prefered them to Crysis (but quite possibly because I could run this at a decent quality, Crysis struggled on medium for me!)

Assassins Creed - excuse the language, but shite (in a good ol' fashioned scottish accent!)

Having played all three I can say
Call of duty 4= offers nothing new to gaming, linear and poor graphics quality. terrible single player level design. but its the mainstream multiplayer fps atm
Crysis= a gorgeous game I absolutely love alot of fun
Sins Creed= fun at first but gets incredibly boring quickly

Call of Duty 4 - love it, runs well and has an interesting story line;
Crysis - hated it, it strugges on my machine and I was bored before I had encountered ANY real action (about 10 mins in);
Assasins Creed - boring to me, same old thing each time, kill a guy and walk 50 billion miles to location n.

call of doodoo 4 is a great game, multiplayer still has its kicks now that i am really getting into the M14, and using my silenced M4 less and less. 4.5 stars

Crysis... sigh... i cant run this game at all high and get smooth framerates, its stupid. and if i turn it down to where i get acceptable frames, it looks like ASS. i would rather play GTA Vice city for the graphics then that game. all in all, one star.

Assassins creed is a great game, slightly repetitive but if you mix up your stylings and how you go about the different missions then the gameplay still feels great. scaling walls and whatnot really is amazing. 4 out of five.

Cod4 Rocks, Crysis is an alright game but it doesn't last long (3-5 hours), and the multiplayer system hasn't been well thought through.

I think Crysis is and Cod 4 are both great games. I could run everything on High in Crysis and i didnt find many problems in online play, altho i do agree with Tuffie. As for Cod4, i guess it is more fun Multiplayer wise, but i still think Crysis is a better game overall?. Cod4 doesnt have much new things added on?..its kinda just the same..if im not wrong.

Crysis I thought was pretty good. The campaign was decent but did drop in quality at the end. Multiplayer is fun for a little while but not worth it.Some of the custom levels that people have made are real good.

COD4 is real fun multiplayer and the single player was short but sweet. I could understand how the multiplayer could get repetitive in COD4 I stopped playing it for a while but now I'm back playin' it.

My friend has Assassins Creed it for PC. The controls are meant for consoles obviously. I didn't play it much but I can easily see why people would get bored of it.
