Crysis DX9 vs DX10

Here's a link to a video of Crysis in DX9 and then DX10, there isn't really all that much difference, so I think if you have a good DX9 machine you'll be able to play Crysis just fine

Lol. When I saw the first clip I was like, "I wish I had a DX10 card", then I watched it again and realised that it was DX9! Sweet!!

I saw pictures comparing Lost Planet DX9 and DX10, the differences were barely noticeable. But this is just the beginning, you remember how DX9 games looked when they first came out

You can only have DX10 if you have a DX10 video card and Vista. What video card do you have?

I can definitley the difference just look at how much better all the scenery looks in DX10. Just the way everything moves looks so much more realistic.

I actualy think the DX10 clip looks alot better than the DX9

But the DX9 looks good too.

Yeh i think the DX10 looks quite a lot better, much better colour and lighting but the DX9 is still very imprssive

After looking at it a bit closer, you can see that the lighting in the DX10 version is alot more realistic. Im sure it will look even better once the game is out, and newer drivers are released.

Everyone has known that forever, Windows XP is not getting DX10. You need to have Vista in order to get it.

I didn't know, I was busy with New House and other things... 8800GTX supports DX10 Right? so I will have to get Vista and new Hdd....

Yes the 8800GTX supports DX10, and you will need Vista. But dont get Home Basic!!

Why would you need a new HD?

i have too much things on my HDD..(I am a graphic designer and I take poster and label orders and crap......)
Its like...
150GB of Flash File(Maybe More?)
1TB of video(Movies... too good to be true)
and like mess of picture(Last time I checked I had about 600,000 pictures or something
(I have like 3HDD, all 500G Samsung Pinpoint-T? I forgot the name and 1 TB HDD but its like stuffed with movies)
I have to keep work files in one Hdd, movies in one Hdd, OS and FLash files in HDD, and pictures in other HDD.. I got no space...
I guess I will have to do diskfragment... it will take heck ya long....
