Crysis high settings?

I've noticed that my computer(in the sig) is unable to run Crysis on high settings, sometimes it will not even load things right, and other times it will be fine but with lag. Is that normal for the kind of computer that I currently have? I've been running it at 4x AA and Medium settings beautifully, but it bothers me i can't run it on high :P.

I'm playing Crysis on medium settings right now with the rig in my sig. I havent tried to go any higher yet though. You could try running it with no AA then turning the settings up it should work.

Crysis is very messed up sometimes. I have had very high settings run great at times, and when I change one setting, or reload that level, the framerates will drop down extremely low, like 10 fps. This would happen at every graphical setting, including "low" settings. As you can see from my sig, my computer is capable of decent framerates, but Crysis is just messed up in general. I really hope that the new patch coming out will help these problems, as well as take care of the multi-threaded problem so it can use all my four cores of my CPU.

lol yeah i play crysis at 1920x1200 with high settings and my framerates aren't quite that awesome, but i can still stand it. i'm on a p4 4.0GHz and 8800GT. the processor is probably bottlenecking but i'll upgrade soon.

I currently play at high with a C2D at 2.0, G92 GTS, and 2GB of Ram. At 1280x1024. No AA. Around 30fps, only dips down to 15-20 in huge explosions etc.

I finished the game today with 2 8800gt with every thing maxed in dx10 except post processing and shaders at high and it was very nicly stable and My mouse movements were alot faster. With the new beta drivers.

I cant wait to play it on a 22" lcd that i should be getting shortly after Christmas. It will be a big improvement over my 16" crt monitor i'm using now, lol :P Then i'll try seeing what kind of settings i can get.

It will be nice other then having to play at lower graphic settings due to the higher resolutions.
