Sucks for the devs, but I'm not surprised. Crysis hasn't been popular in a while.

They hadn't payed their employees since they rode dinosaurs to work. Not cool. I have never been thrilled with any Crytek game except the first Crysis which I could beat on max difficulty without dying. I loved that game.

I still play that game, it's awesome. It's actually the reason I got into building computers.

I bought Crysis recently. It still looks awesome to this day. Man was that game ahead of its time.

I could have sworn I saw some movie where they listed "Crytek" in there credits as using some sort of film engine. Guess I was wrong as they are belly up.

Yeah, 90% of people use it just to benchmark hardware, not because they like the game.
