cs- 1.6 for free?

would i be able to get counter strike 1.6 for free if i have source? where can i download it?


i heard its a bit harder than source.. and i also miss being able to use shields

Nope, its not free Im afraid. You have to pay, but its only 10 bucks on steam.

I dont have much experience with it but CSPro Mod is supposed to be just like CS 1.6 and its free if you have CSS. However, i played it a while ago (5 months maybe) and there were only 5 or 6 people onlnine.
