Before you even start i know what your gonna say, and this is legit, ive played CS:CZ for a long time now from the same CD's, after a catastophic repair install of windows, most thigns are kinda screwed, so before i format next week, i wanted to paly a quick game.... damn its not installed, fish out the discs.... damn, Disc #1 has an almighty scratch down it, tried it anyway, gets to about 25% installed and comes up with a I/O error.

So what to do... these are proper discs, i bought them from PC World about 3 years ago... I have a legit CD-Key and Steam Account and Everythign, i know i could just download it through steam but that means i would have to do that everytime i reinstall windows or whatever, which sucks, i want discs, what can i do...??

Any help, thanks...

When you download it through steam, it gives you the option to backup the download as a .exe which you can then put on a cd/dvd and just run it when you install windows.

Download via Steam, and use the "Backup game files" feature. Then just burn, burn, burn. And then after you've formatted you can just install Steam and copy the files from the discs into the appropriate folder(s).

EDIT:
elmarcorulz was faster. :P
