CS:S maple problem!

Google the map and download it off of a website and copy it into your steam folder, thats what I do whenever I am downloading maps and it takes too long and I dont want to wait.
 
wait weres steam folder all i have is an icon with idicates steam and when i click on it it opens my steam acc?
 
Assuming you installed steam normally...

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\Your_name_here\counter-strike source\cstrike\maps
