Damn, and he has the X800GTO2! I'm planning to get the XFX 7600GT XXX overclocked to 590MHz and 1600GHz memory DDR. I can't imagine how high the FPS I will get in CSS then the 30 FPS I am getting now! I hope the 128-bit memory on the 7600GT won't make a big difference in performance.[-0MEGA-] said:From the looks of it, hes running AA on, high settings, and 1024x768.
everything on high, AA 6x, AF 16x, everything enabled except V-Sync, resolution 1024*768, i get from 80-160 fps (in dark places (corners) can go up to 250 fps)Dialamo said:You get very good FPS for CSS. What quality settings are you running it on?
skidude said:What u get on stress test @ that resolution?
it would be nothing special, probably 30 frames more on the screen shot i took (max 40)Dialamo said:Wow, my system will be overkill for source. If you guys are getting those high frame rates with your parts, imagine a AMD X2 4200+, 2GB RAM and a 7600GT! I was planning to build my PC just to run source fine. Ah well, at least my new PC won't become obsolete like my Dell did in 2 years!
