CSS just bought it

just bought CSS,played it, Its not anything great


Its the same as CS ,but with better looking buildings and bottles bounce when you shoot them.

The characters look as Bad as CS ,terrible lag

can i get my $$ back ?
 
what?!?!!? the player models dont look as bad. what are you computer specs? and what maps you play on? have you played cs_militia or de_nuke?!?!!?!
and terrible lag isnt the games fault.....

specs-good enough to play the old CS

CS is an al around cheap game-doesnt look as good as gamespot videos

Just because they are good enough to play the original CS doesn't mean they are good enough to play source. In my opinion if no one cared about graphics then both are just about equal in how fun they are to play but if you have all the settings on HIGH and have a decent VC and like 1gb ram then source should look pretty good when you play it.

O yeah, and you can get Counter strike: source, Day of Defeat: Source, and HL2: deathmatch all together in one box at Walmart for like $30.
 
lol if your specs are just "good enough" to play the old CS then of course everything looks crappy for CSS. CSS is way more demanding than the old CS. lol and if it doesnt look as good as the videos then something is wrong w/ your computer not the game lol and dont forget its a MOD to half life....

deleting it.

played a few more maps like militia those look pretty good.
maybee it wasnt up to date on steam ,you know where is says "100%"

mine is at 96% now
 
First, the lag is not the game whatsoever, its either you or some other persons internet. The character models look 100 times better, the hands in 1.6 look like sticks taped together badly. Just try CSS a little more, you will grow to like it.
