CSS: virtual memory too low Playing CSS

lately ive been laging alot, could it be because of the few programs i have added ? i added 4 antivirus programs.

Do i have enough memory ?
Physcial memory:
total memory=252656 K
available=76000 K
System Cache:133860 K

ram=256

first of all you dont need 4 antivirus programs you only need one. you are a little low of memory. upgrade to at least 512 or 1 gb. your lagging cause of low ram usage and to many antivirus programs.
 
I got that message alot when I was playing Source games with 256 mb of RAM. I increased my PF size, and it stopped coming up, but you should still get at least another 256 mb stick, RAM is dirt cheap nowadays.
 
Playings CSS on 256MB is virtually unplayable. You should really have 512MB or more for smooth gameplay.

You can get another 256MB stick fo ram for around $15 on www.newegg.com, although it depends if you have DDR or SDRAM.

You have 4 antivirus programs running on 256MB of RAM, and you are wondering why you are lagging?
