Ctrl+Alt+Delete

thanks a lot!
i do that followed by what you tell me .
but i doesn't work.

i find in system2 folder there is no Taskmgr.exe.

who can help me ?

thanks !

if u found out that there is no taskmgr.exe in System32, that means Windows Task Manager is gone. Mayb u can try restoring it by repairing ur Os with ur Windows XP CD.

as an administrator you can enable or disable Windows 2000 Pro or Windows XP Pro's TaskManager using Group Policy Editor. This can be applied to the local policy. Note: if you are trying to override your organizations group policy, you can't. As soon as you re-authenticate to the domain, the domain or OU Group Policy will rewrite the registry setting. But if the TaskManager was accidently disabled or you need to control this item for a set of standalone boxes this is for you

these are the simple steps after appling these steps your keys start working.

Click Start
Click Run
Enter gpedit.msc in the Open box and click OK
In the Group Policy settings window
Select User Configuration
Select Administrative Templates
Select System
Select Ctrl+Alt+Delete options
Select Remove Task Manager
Double-click the Remove Task Manager option
And as I mentioned above, since the policy is Remove Task Manager, by disabling the policy, you are enabling the Task Manager.

wow 3 yr old bump

And Group Policy Editor was already covered anyway !

It was definitely malware related, but back in 2006 ! Things have changed a lot now, for the better ;)

If anyone has a similar issue, and searches here (google search or something) You just need to create a new thread, not reply to this old out dated one
