Current Computer I'm Building.

So I already have it all planned out. No changes except if needing anything AFTER it's fully completed. I've already done the research and asked on many forums.
Asterisk after the item denotes I already have it.

Prices paid are USD.

Tower * - $64.94
Motherboard * - Birthday Present
CPU
PSU * - $68.19
GPU
RAM
HDD *1 - $53.61
Blu-ray disc burner

Total so far - $186.74

After this is completed but the GPU will be the very last along with the monitor. Now I've been planning on buying a new mouse and an ergonomic keyboard which is similar to the eMachines one I'm currently using.

This thread is more of a completion thread compared to recommendations. All parts are final for what I'm building. I'll keep checking back with progress updates. First time ever building my own computer.

EDIT: NO RECOMMENDATIONS ON WHAT I SHOULD BUY! Except for maybe keyboard, aftermarket heatsink for the CPU and non-ricer/Blue LED 120mm case fans. Problem with the case? Buy me a new one. Problem with the PSU? Buy me a new one. Problem with the motherboard? Buy me a new one. Goes for the rest.
Sorry I'm taking such a slow time getting this. Problem with that? Buy it for me instead of being wise-asses.

wait, are you buying 1 part a month or so, this is a horrible idea unless you see something shell shocked or similar concept, prices drop at a decent speed so a deal now might be average price in a month or 2, save up and get a good deal at once.

1'st mistake, got an am3 mobo so bulldozer means a brand new mobo, and intel's are much faster too, and idk if hec is a good psu so can't comment but i don't think they are, otherwise no problems.

Yes I'm buying a part a month, any problems with my choice in that? You want to buy me an AM3+ or Intel motherboard then? Intel is far too damn expensive for me.
I got the motherboard for my birthday, IN APRIL. Want me to get different stuff then I suggest donating to the link in my signature if you're going to be a wise-ass.
I don't have the income to save up readily. So very sorry. Again donate to the link in the signature since you obviously didn't read my first post thoroughly.
It's a progress report of what I'm buying, no damn advice needed. Yes I'm buying 8GB RAM and sure as **** I'm buying a Blu-ray disc burner.
PROGRESS REPORT. Take me a few more months!

IDGAF about Bulldozer since the AM3 motherboard was already released. Why the hell should I wait? Again ALL PARTS ARE FINAL, can't anyone read?!

am3+ support bd and current cpu's, that's why i said that, did read first post but i b sleep, 2:30am for me and idk why i'm up, and btw intel isn't moe expensive, the cpu's are but the performance exceeds any amd of the same price in the 100+market, any i3, especially 2100 and other sb's, will blow any amd out of the water even though the i3 is 2 cores and the amd will be 4, but i do recommend waiting and saiving for now since amd is in processos of killink athlon and phenom so they will be on clearence, but you have to buy quick cuz they'll be selling out faster than anything in all of history.

and btw i'm in the same situation as you, i only have my case and ad psu but one in other comp. broke so it went in there, being a jobless 14 y.o. sucks. and the only reaso i bought those was they was nice and on sale, got my 45 buck vortex 3620 case with 10 buck shipping for 35 and 2 instead.

You're 14? Sucks for you. I suggest continue taking English classes since your sentence structuring is very difficult to read. Try being 32 and having pre-built computers since you were 12. So yes this is in fact my first self-built computer and I'd rather take advice for someone with far more world/adult experience compared to a kid. Go mooch money from your parents since it will still be their money which paid for it.
Keep texting on your smartphone kid.
Guess I'll be selling more crap on eBay.

believe me, i ain't one of the kid's you're thinking of, private schools and knowledge and way smarter than 99% of people i know, love school cuz i basically sit and laugh at other paying no attention then ace every test, score over 90 on ever exam without a second of studying, and i get no money, i am broke, sold stuff on ebay that i bought with b-day money and christmas stuff, which isn't much, we barely can afford to live in our house, granddad pays part of bills, i'm not who you think i am and wish i could be one of those ass holes, and i knoe more abot computer than you probably, pulled aboart and reassembled first computer without a bit of knowledge at all without a single problem within 20 mins, and i got up and got a dring and watched a sec of tv in there, so don't think age means stupidity you d.f., and it's ****in 2:45 am and idk why i'm awake so i don't care about ****ing sentence structure, actually one of the best writers in my class when i try, teachers tell me all the time, and my parents don't even check my shit unlike everyonee else's

owe yeah, isn't mooching off parents when they owe you ****ing 160 bucks, and can't get crap from them anyways. and i've helped many people here build good systems, look in some other threads and see, i aint got nothin else to do so i spend most of my day here, and i pick things up pretty quick.

Why did you start a thread if you're only going to slate off people with opinions to add?

I hate to be a 'wise-ass', but I'll state the obvious here:

Literally, what is the upside to buying parts month-by-month instead of in a lump sum? In instance one, you have a working computer after 8 months. In instance two, you have a working computer after 8 months. Unless you don't have a working computer and you're building one without a GPU, but this is geting more and more tenuous a reasoning.

In instance two, you'll have saved money by buying components more recently, as the price is likely to have fallen. The main scenario I can see where your line is reasonable is if we have computer component price INFLATION, which would buck the trend of, oh, more or less constantly since computers were invented. And in an expected return on your capital in the months in between and so on..

Don't Go A Ragin' Now.

Before you attack me too, I'm linking you to
BETTER, FASTER, CHEAPER PARTS
So don't rage at me too.

CPU - Same performance, slightly cheaper.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103849

RAM - Better Performance, cheaper
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...3180&cm_re=1600mhz_8gb-_-20-233-180-_-Product

HDD- Either of these are better than what you've chosen, Sata 6.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...36767&cm_re=1tb_sata_6-_-22-136-767-_-Product

You won't need an aftermarket cooler unless you plan to OC.
But if you do, these are some sub $35 dollar coolers that seem okay.

So don't go a ragin'
I'm only being helpful, like EVERYONE else on this forum.

Not planning on buying SSDs or RAIDing or Overclocking.

EDIT: OH WAIT. NewEgg would actually be more expensive for me compared to Amazon since SALES TAX.
