Custom built gaming PC value

I built my computer about 2 years ago and was looking for the value of it now.I spent about $2,000 for it and put it all together myself. The components of it are:
1.motherboard-EVGA x58 3x SLI "Classified"
2.CPU-Intel Core i7 - 975 "Extreme Edition"(Nice CPU! paid about $1000:D)
3.Top notch CPU cooler- Ultra Chilltec cpu cooler with sensor controls
4.Corsair dominator 6gb ddr3 memory
5.comp. case-antec twelve hundred
6.video card- xfx nvidia GeForce 9800gtx "plus edition"(not so great oh well)
7.power supply- 1000 watts XION atx power supply (probably the worst
quality piece in pc:()


Tell me what you think about the pc and the value of it right now.thanks:)
 
I think around $650-$750.
The CPU was amazing but the new sandy bridge beats it.
You would get more if you sell it part by part.

Yea I guess technology changes! Um yea selling piece by piece sounds appealing to me actually.Like where could you sell the components? craigslist?ebay? also the computer is acually barely used and I saved the boxes with the cds, manual and everything of every component which helps alot!

Once you get 100posts try selling them on the forum itself.
The parts you are selling will be sold pretty quickly except the PSU.
 
I have windows 7 ultimate installed on it. How can I take it off the motherboard or is it not necessary?

Just clean your Hard Drive.Insert the Windows 7 disc.And delete all the partitions, and you would have all your HDD space as unpartitioned space.
