Looks good... isn't there any reason your not buying from Newegg.com ? Cheaper and better shipping! You could probably save $xx to $xxx using Newegg...

Not looking good... Why buying 939 socket these days? and spend over $100 on DDR RAM?

Tiger Direct is fine if thats what you want, Im not going to argue with you about that, but most everyone is going to recommend newegg.

But, I will say as will everyone here, many already have...is that your being foolish if you don't take heed to what some of these guys have already told you. 939 is dead hardware. You aren't really going to be able to upgrade anything in that system. On top of that you can get socket AM2 hardware for CHEAPER than that and it will run faster. your getting double the memory speed out of the DDR2 that was recommended than what you chose.

But in the end its up to you. Yes they are compatible with each other, no its not a good investment in my opinion and probably most peoples here. Why invest in old hardware for a complete system, if for the same or less money you can get better, faster, newer hardware.

Its not like your just upgrading a cpu, where you might need to stick with socket 939. But whatever...
