Custom Computer Problem....Please Help Quick!!!

Hi there. So i just bought a bunch of new parts for my pc and for some reason when i press the power button to turn the computer on, the fans and hdd and everything start but my monitor shows no signal. The parts I have jsut installed are:

Intel q6600 processor
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L MotherBoard
4gb of patriot ddr2-800 ram
BFG Geforce 8600gts video Card
Seagate Barracuda 750gb hdd.
Silverstone Element ST50EF-PLUS 500W PSU

So basically, everything is plugged in and ready to go but when i turn on pc monitor has no display, does anyone know why??

I'm no expert but you have so many variables here.....

Start over, and add one of the things at a time, or try starting by going back to your original vid card.

The PSU IMO looks a bit weak. Can you post it's specs?

ummmm...not sure what you mean but the specs on the psu are as follows:

Model: ST50EF
Output: 500w

+3.3v=25a
+5v=25a
+12v1=18a
+12v2=18a
-5v= -
-12v=0.3a
5Vsb=3.0a

Is that what you need>?

when i went to http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp and put in all of the specs for my pc, it said that my pc is only drawing 310w therefore the psu should be fine im guessing. hmmmm, now im really stumped. ive been waiting so long for these parts and the comp just wont work, life sucks!
