Custom Data Transmission Project

I would like to use a wireless router as a receiver to receive wi-fi data signals containing information such as pressure, voltage, etc. from multiple similar devices at once and be able to view the data in real time. Is this at all possible? If not, does anybody know how I can receive multiple data channels at once from multiple sources? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might be able to do it with an Arduino, but I'm not certain. That thing has some many uses, I'm sure you could come up with some way.
