If it's for gaming, what kind of games do you want to run?

Call of Duty, Battlefield etc? It depends weather its worth the money or not as I do have a 'backed-up' 360 :) Please could you help me fill in the blanks? I have made a start....
CPU:
CPU Cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram: 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3 10600 1333MHz RAM Memory
HDD: Western Digital 500Gb SATA II Hard Drive
DVD-RW: LiteOn iHAS124 DVD±RW Internal Optical Drive DL DVD RAM 24x SATA Black
Graphics Card:
PSU:
Case:

In Total so far the RAM, HDD and Burner is £100.. leaves me with roughly £300 budget, any ideas?

Yeah, PC Gaming should be a bit more powerful than Console Gaming due to the greater Processor and more memory and Disk Space.

Is there any chance you could help find me the best CPU/Cooler, Motherboard, GFX Card, PSU & Case? that will all be compatible together??

http://www.alternate.nl/html/produc...220/?tn=HARDWARE&l1=Voedingen&l2=tot+600+Watt

its a dutch site but this is a good PSU for allround gaming.

with a motherboard i cant really help unless you know what kind of CPU you want,
so cheap and quite good AMD or a bit pricey but really good Intel.

personally just to save money id go for AMD.

graphics card: you could go with a motherboard that has 2 PCIe x16 slots and got with 2 GT210's or 2 GT220's but could go a bit more expensive and go for a gtx260

depends on what your needs are

I have come up with this:
Case: Antec - VSK-2000 PC Case ATX £38

MoBo: ASUS P8Z68-V LX Motherboard ATX LGA1155 DDR3 - £80

PSU: ALPINE 500W PSU 120MM LO-NOISE RED FAN 2 SATA - £20

Processor: Intel Core i3 560 3.33GHz Socket 1156 4MB Cache - £105

Graphics Card: Sapphire AMD HD 6750 / 1GB GDDR5 /PCI Express 2.0 Graphics Card - £90

RAM: PKR 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3 10600 1333MHz - £30

DVD-RW DRIVE: LiteOn iHAS124 DVD±RW Internal Optical Drive DL DVD RAM 24x - £15

HDD: Western Digital 500Gb SATA II Hard Drive - £55

TOTAL: £433!!!!

Can people please tell me if there is anything wrong/improvements etc?
£433 is pushing my budget out to the max.
Appreciate your time, Many Thanks, Will.

the mobo is good but i3 2100 is better and is correct socket for that motherboard. no to the psu, it might cost more but a good psu is well worth it, that one has a good chance of failing and destroying other components too, look for a corsair, antec, xfx, pc power and cooling, seasonic, or silverstone one with 450w min i think, 500-550 would be best.
