Custom touch screen?

Does anyone know if there is any company makes a touch screen or panel that you can customize? i have wired my mustang to regular switches and buttons that i use for starting the car and other various things. Is there a product out there that i could replace switches with a touch screen?
 
no im a college student haha. but it should be cheap to get a universal touch panel that will connect what i want it to connect
 
I know that the monitors you can get are pretty basic, and twice as expensive.

So I'm not buying one, I'm making one!

This group develops open source multi-touch screen apps to use with a webcam! Really cool stuff. You can use infrared light and webcams to make touch screens! Methods of this here.
 
thats pretty sweet. can you make it do what you ant? like if you have wire A, can you make it close the circuit to wire B?
