Custom XP Desktop Skin

im wondering if i can changed things like the start menu bars icon with something custom,can i just change the file to a different picture and save it back into the right folder,and if so what folder contains all the skin stuff?

isnt it just an .ico file?

I'm not sure about that but I know this wonderful program called Windowblinds that customizes and skins EVERYTHING. And you can even download and choose over a ton of free cool skins

No it's not an .ico file, thats system.
anyways an alternate way is to use the UX theme multipatcher from HERE

then you can head HERE or HERE and download visual styles.
jusk make sure you don't download those in .exe form, they are known to be prowned with spyware/adware

I don't think you have to download anything to be honest, I'm pretty sure there is a way to change the hugh and saturation of the theme, just have a good look around in the properties and stuff
