D Link DIR-655 wireless fails daily

Hello. I purchased a D Link DIR-655 about a month ago and it has been nothing but problems. Every day (sometimes more than once) it will drop its wireless connection out of the blue. The LED light on the unit shows that the wireless is in fact on, but no computer can find its wireless signal.

I have tired changing channels and setting the wireless to stay on at all times. But every day I have to unplug the power for the router and hard reset it. 1-3 mins after the hard reset the wireless signal is back and the unit functions fine.

Anyone know a remedy to fix this?

Mine from a few years ago (same model) kicked the bucket a few months ago. I bought the same one (newer model) and the reviews seem to point that they are fluky and it's a hit and a miss. Return it and get a new one.
