hey guys,

i need some help with my router, actually its a question can i connect a laptop wireless to this router ''D-Link DL 604'' does it work??

i need to get a good answer, should it work? and what do i have to buy to be able to connect wireless?

You need to mention which wirless speed your laptop is(B/G/N), in order for us to tell you if it will work (on the laptop side). I did not look to see if the router works wirelessly, but im sure viper is right.
 
do not go with d-link, ive spent hours trying to get one with wireless to work and went out and bought a linksys instead.
 
how much does a new router costs, with the ability of using two connected desktops or more, with wire and one wireless for my laptop, and i need a good connect rate, and a router that doesnt drop and things like that.

with good ability to move inside the house without having connection problems if im connected without a wire.

can anyone recommend one, id appreciate if it was cheap.
 
go for a belkin one, in my experience there spot on, plus you get a lifetime warrenty and free technical support which is pretty good!
 
This is how I would like it, like 2 ports available for normal, wired computers, and with the ability to add a wireless connection for my laptop, i need to know like this, what do i need to get when i bought a router with these specs, to have the ability to connect from my laptop?

i would appreciate if the modem, was high speed, at a cheap cost, thx.
 
Of Course, Modem>Router>PC's(wired) and Wireless adapter on Laptop


Get a Netgear or if you already have a modem get the Linksys WRT54G, I can give you a few tips on hooking that up, as if it's not "cut and dried" already.

Pretty cheap and it does what it is supposed to. Linksys WRT54G(link)
