D Link Router Randomness..

I have a DLINK router DI-604 routing internet to two computers from Comcast internet. It seems like every hour or so the router completely loses all connections and comes right back on. I have no idea why it would be doing this. Ive tried two of the same router and it happens still.. Not sure if its the modem or the router. When i first connected the router everything worked fine for a couple hours and then internet access was completely severed (modem still had all lights on and i had an ip and dns from comcast) I had to clone the mac address of my computer on the router to restore my internet because I think comcast has some kind of security measures to keep you from using more than one computer per connection. Any help?

Unless comcast is different in your area then mine, no they don't block it and i don't have mine cloned, i'm using a Linksys modem and router. I was tired of paying for their modem rental.

well maybe ill have to call and see..i mean it really makes no sense. I do think its something that had to do with the router..the WAN and both 1 and 2 Link lights go off when it disconnects..but it comes right back on. Its so weird.
