Damaged Processors

overheating, faulty wiring, static poses large problems, abuse (hitting stuff)

oh and sometimes motherboard problems can short out a proc

if you have a cpu with a bare core (ie no heat spreader) you have to be very careful when putting the heatsink on.
Also metal based thermal paste can cause issues if you get it on other places rather than the core.
overvolting and overheating are other more well known problems.

Is it possible to damage a procesor by doing to much at once on your computer (i mean, running it at 100% usage for long times (and keeping it cool)?

I wouldn't think so, but just wondering.

running at 100% load isn't a problem for the system as it was designed to do so. If it gets too hot while doing this it may cause problems in the long term such as premature failure of the system.

Throw off tall building, Hammer, Large rock, Hard stomping with foot, Gun, Chainsaw, Superman, :D

Lemme add to that great list ; )

Fire

placing ontop of a subwoofer then crankin it up so the subs cone throws it off

attempting to remove the IHS and breaking an edge off

throwing it at a cop car

using it for spikes under someones tires that you hate (although this works great !)

using it as a frisbe

drilling a hole through it (not as hard to do as youd think)

All are from personal experience and work great : ). Iv had ALOT of old Intel 133s.
