Well, in an effort to run my games more smoothly I have been using Coolbits for my video card. I had my memory and clock set up a few Mhz, at about half maybe less than my best overclock (didn't want to damage it or anything). I rarely game with it, so the card is normally not overclocked at all during the week, mainly a few hours over the weekend.
Anyway, after about an hour of playing Medal of Honor: Allied Assault on medium settings I decided to power down and see how hot my card really was (it doesn't have a sensor or fan). I placed my finger onto the heatsink and it was HOT, or at least very very warm. I almost couldn't hold my finger there longer than a couple seconds.
So, how bad is this really? If I'd kept on playing, would it "pop"?
