Anyone playing it?

I play on No Man's Land, as a Hero.

Absolutely love the game so far, though I am not incredibly far into it. Just hopefully the content later on is worth staying for.

Ca you explain some of it... Ive been wondering alot about this game? Is it anything like Wow, if youve ever played it, i guess is what Im getting at lol.,
 
My feeling for playing what I have played so far is its pretty much a DC comic Infamous(on the ps3)... that is online. You create and customize your own superhero, and then are thrown into Gotham City (open-world). There is PVE, PVP etc. Fight along side people like superman, or even villians. Level up and get new powers whatnot

Idk really how it would relate to WoW, as I do not see much of a resemblance. Maybe end-game or something?

As I said, I'm not to far into this game yet. Just a meer lv7, but I have played a whole lot of WoW

Maybe some of the missions you could relate to WoW, as you could every other RPG. I've had several "Kill so many (insert mob here)"

But you havent heard or seen anything that resembles dungeons, with tanks, dps and healers sort of thing? Im just interested, Wow and the Aion Beta are the only mmorpg games i have ever played, so I tend to wonder how can one work if its not Wow with a different skin. I might pick it up just to see what its all about i guess
 
Im watching some stuff one you tube... I like the separation of Stat and Appearance, so if you get new gear with good stats and it looks liek shit you can give it the look of a piece of gear you had before.
 
hmm...That sounds interesting..After playing WoW for 5 years, I'm always on the lookout for a new mmo that I would like just as much. Most I've tried though are just WoW clones.
 
I've never played City of Heroes, so I can't relate there

Also, no I haven't seen any of the dungeons or anything yet.. but I hear a lot about playing your part (IE: tank, healer, controller). So it must be something. There is no real damage dealing class from my understanding, as they all do damage.

Fire/Ice - Tank
Controller - Kind of like Rogue from my understanding in WoW?
Then there is Healer


As well, I also like that appearance/equipment feature too. Even if it looks like $#@&, you can turn it off, or throughout the game you unlock different types of styles like Biker, Business and whatnot that you can change it too... so if the style you have looks bad, just try a new style with it.

Is that a PVP server? You should try out No Man's Land if not. It's a blast, and really not as bad as it sounds. The ganking isn't incredibly horrible, at least I haven't experienced it... and the little I have ended up in being a fail for them.

It's absolutely fun being an ice character. Earlier I was fighting some hive mobs, and a lv11 came and attacked me (I was lv9 at the time). Haha, I killed my mobs, started fighting back. I popped hibernate and the guy started running. I gave him a little hope, and then BAM, pulled him back in, froze him and killed. :D

Such a rush PVP'ing haha. I just wish there was like a ranking system like WoW has, where you got points(not exp) towards a status rank. Would be neat.

no i'm on a pve server as i'm not really into pvp but i might give it a go.
