Local ip 192.168.1.1

subnet 255.255.255.0

Dchp server enabled
Starting IP addres 192.168.1.100
maximun number of DCHP users 50

Client lease time 0 (0 means one day)
Static DNS 1-3 all 0s
WINS all 0s

....Although i have it set as PPoE connection on router i still have to make one through new internet connections on computer...please help

This prob isnt it but make sure the services on your pc are enabled! Go to run and type services.msc, scroll down to DHCP Client and see if i ts running. If not then right click and go to properties and set it to automatic. Then find UPnP Device Host and make sure its set on the same thing.

Then it has to be something with your router. Try resetting the router and pc and let it reconfigure! Are you setting a static ip or letting it set by itself?

Did you try resetting? If yes then call your isp and ask what the DNS's are. You might be able to find out what they are by searching on google too.

So are you getting an IP address assigned to your PC? The router will hand out an IP address regardless if there is an active internet connection or not.

If you do get an IP but just can't get online, then check to make sure your ISP uses PPPoE and that it's configured properly.
